Ok let me start a discussion. Giving money to beggars is stupid.

How about no? Okay, some kind of beggars don't deserve our help but some do. Example, healthy people who are able to walk around the streets asking for money don't deserve help at least not with money. Maybe you can help them by finding a job or something. On the other hand, people who are disabled and can't have proper care due to some economical problems in a poor developing country (eg. Egypt, that's where I live btw) should be helped with whatever is possible (money included).

I totally agree with what u said dude.
Even in Germany there are enough ppl that do not have any money because of "bad luck", If one has enough money, why shouldnt he share it eh?

There's a lot of people who ruin it for others, like those alcoholics and drug addicts, atleast we have them here a LOT in The Netherlands. Usually, if I want to help homeless people or beggars, I would just bring them to get a sandwich and some drinks, or maybe toilet stuff, instead of tossing them money and hoping they won't use it to support their habits.

kinda off-topic:

Some guy "welcomed" me, however I think his post is hilarious xD

I don't give money to beggars. Even if I see a truly handicapped person it looks like he is forced to do this by organized criminals, so money given to him most likely end up being in the hands of some criminal scum.

For instance, I've seen beggars with no legs in subway trains. The first thing that comes my mind is how did they get there? I doubt they crawled all the way through. Then there must be somebody who delivers them to their "workplace" and brings them back after their "shift". And that somebody must have a vehicle. That means he has a certain degree of wealth. That person could've helped the handicapped, but he abuses him instead.

I've also seen relatively young people looking healthy but pretending to be deaf and begging for money. I see them doing this in fast food restaurants, coming from table to table with a piece of paper. Well, that's a peculiar scam schematic indeed, they don't even need to say anything in order to fool people.

And it seems that they have a well organized division of territory. Various types of beggars occupy their own places. I've never seen different types of beggars outside of their "natural" habitat. Most likely if one steps in the "wrong" territory people who force him out will come.

The only time I have ever tossed money to "beggars" is when I was in Las Vegas a few years ago, and some guy was standing on some bridge with the sign: "Help me with $1 to buy a beer". Atleast that guy was HONEST. It's also a form of comedy, even though his addiction is not funny.

I would always toss money to people like him, however, this was the only guy I have ever seen with such sign.

Sadly, most of your claims are true. Personally, I think helping them with food is the best but, it's a matter of time. When you're walking to work and you see someone in need of help you assume that he really is and then give him some money because you don't really have the time to stop by and get him something to eat.
