Is the Gameforge (GF) client only seeing your IP address, or some hardware IDs too? If you start the game nostale, what exactly can the admins see besides the IP address?

There are few things which they are able to see:
- IP address
- GF installation ID (will describe below where you can find it and change)
- probably HWID (however I am not 100% sure they are collecting it)

Where you can find in registry & change GFUID:

HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Gameforge4d\TNTClient\MainApp
HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Gameforge4d\GameforgeClient\MainApp
HKCU:\Software\Gameforge4d\TNTClient\MainApp

There is a powershell script created by Gilgames000 which will do it quickly for you.


In fact if you want to be anonymous in NosTale (for example you are doing some things which breaks GF TOS) it's enough to change GFUID & IP. I've been earning on minigames bots and a lot of my alts got banned but my main account was never banned. The only thing I've been doing was using different gfuid for each account.

There are some tools to ignore the gameforge launcher, and there you can also see what you need to send to be able to login

For sure Gameforge is saving a lot of data, we can see them in the blackbox when the launcher request the connection token, here is an example with my computer :

This tool seems not changing the gUID at all
