Surely a nice and chill gameplay experience, almost no lag in about 4 days i have played, but i have to admit that some comments here are right.

Staff members dont accept any kind of criticism (i remember during beta that i got banned from their discord just because i wrote a critique without any offensive or provocative behavior); they won't try to build a conversation around ur critique, instead they just point out that "this is the best server ever made, etc etc".

Also, i think that if u build up so much hype around something (how many times they stated "this will be the best nostale pserver ever made" in this years?) u have to answer properly; that means that u can't afford so many downtimes during the first week release.

(i dont know if they have their own servers or if they just pay a company to host their pserver but if is that the case, the protection from ddos attacks and such should be included in the paid plan, so if u choose a good company to host the server u should be allright..)

I wish we could've gotten a second beta. I really like some of the stuff that has been done, but there are also big problems coming to NW. I wouldn't have a problem with reducing all XP, drops and resetting the server.

In my experience it is the case in business to advertise a product as the "best" or "most secure" or whatever product but having issues to fulfill these promises, especially for young projects.
Think about Entwell. This company did not just code their servers in 2 years. AFAIK Nostale is built on 15+ years old Delphi code.
The guys at Entwell's development department, the whole company got many experience, tried and failed.

The fact, that many/most of the Nostale server projects are developed in the developer's free time, excuses some problems.

It is hard to really work professionally.
Because of the lack of software engineering principles and project management rules most serious business projects failed 25 years ago.

As I can see, I have cleaned up this thread. If not, please report the posts (with explanations)

Thread seems biased now. You deleted majority of the comments that the community left for the server. Most of the comments you deleted didn't contain any spam or insults, they was just reviews about the server.

I delete spam posts but also delete any spam related posts i.e. (direct and indirect) replies to spam.
Sometimes it is difficult to differ.

Usseles u delete the messages from people everyone know the reality and how the things are. What about u start deleting blowa being toxic with all servers ? My opinion after playing the server for the first days: This is a server self-proclaimed as the "best one on the scene" whom admins have been dedicating their time to criticize and flame all the other projects long before their server was even released, promising to give their users an experience free of p2w and a good gaming experience, after a few days after release they proceeded to get DDoS and players started to abuse an exploit to duplicate their items. more commonly known as dupe exploits. All this while selling "quality of life items on the itemshop" like inventory expansions etc.. when your project is in beta your job is to fix those quality of life issues you have instead of making the gaming experience of your users worse so you can then monetize those issues, there is nothing wrong with having a big mouth and trash talking all your competitors to try and get their players to your server while creating hype about your project but If you want to do that then you have to deliver on what you promise and so far that hasn't been the case. There are huge issues, the game is unfinished, A4 as of this moment is disabled because there is a bug that crashes the server, and there is no Arena of Talents. Server aside it looks like this elitepvpers post is also really biased as I've been seeing people say that all the critiques that aren't positive get deleted even If they comply with elitepvpers Terms of Service

As of now this isn't the best server in any aspect and there are better alternatives.

The Guy isnt even on the Discord of Noswings. And trust me he isnt on any side But Spreading this bullshit makes your Post ofc trustable.

Of course you can say that Blowa comes across as arrogant with the statements he has made. But that's your own opinion. In my opinion he is just right about what he said. The thing is actually I don't know of an OpenNos server that is free from dupes, but most owners ignore that because they don't have any logs about where all the items etc. are at the end. Or even they don't care as long as they make enough money. So are you criticizing that you found 1 dupe in the server and you actually take care of it directly so that the game experience is not destroyed for the others? Or that someone DDoS the Server where the Team itself has nothing to do with it?

And please don't come now, I'd crawl Blowa's ass. I used to have arguments with him myself.
And I don't think I get along 100% with Blowa either. Nevertheless grow up, and if you want to criticize something, try real criticism that may also have arguments.

In what I have played in the first days, the server had some lag and at specific moments it crashes

but I suppose it would be due to the DDOS attacks + a bad server
