Overview
Since Malus Blackdagger and his bandits has become a great threat of passers-by who are often hijacked and attacked on Blackdagger Ruins, Call to Arm: Storming the Keep stirs up. Provided the group of Blackdagger is a tough resistance to overcome, those who successfully complete this quest will gain the generous rewards.
At 10 a.m. PST on January 23, 2014, players from level 6-60 will be placed on standby at any time during the event period. It will be a great way to pick up some achievements that drop from the slain creatures and play through a skirmish that you have missed.
Time
Call to Arm: Storming the Keep has begun on January 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. PST, and it will end on January 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. PST. It has planned to end it on January 27 at 10 a.m. PST, but due to an emergency maintenance to solve the Call to Arm lags issue, the event will be extended to January 28.
Rewards
Rewards includes the new enchantments, companion, unique weapon transmutes and Medallions of Battle.
First, you may receive the Brutal Enchantment. “This enchantment is cold to the touch, and seems to dim the light around it. Players can receive up to Rank 5 Brutal Enchantment during the event. Rank 1 and 2 Brutal Enchantments my drop from creatures while running the skirmish” (this resource is from nw.perfectworld.com).
Second, you will get a new companion named Swashbuckler. Swashbuckler has reformed herself and given up on a life of robbery and extortion. Now she is eager to join in a noble adventure and get a companionship. As a new companion, she “Swashbuckler has a max rank of 20 and initial power points in critical strike, armor penetration and power. This companion also includes two offensives and one defensive slot for runestones, along with a neck, waist and sword knot slot.” And she also has an active bonus and three powers. The active bonus can make her suffer a critical hit and 200 critical strike chance for 5 seconds; Shield Charge can make her hit target foe with the edge of the shield to deal damage; she can slash target foe with the sword to deal damage with 40% additional damage to targets granting combat advantage; she has a devastating impact on targets by Shield Charge.
The medallions of battle, which can be used to buy weapons, drop from the chest at the end of the skirmish and from monsters during the event.
Using medallions of battle, players can change the normal weapons to the unique weapon transmutes for the sake of Call to Arm.
