World seems more "stretched" in Windows 10?

Not sure if any of you would happen to know a fix for this, but recently I made the upgrade to Windows 10 as I wanted to obtain it before it no longer became free.

Whilst everything has been working fantastic so far, there has been one noticeable hiccup involving NFS: World.

The game appears "stretched" out, not making it look like a proper widescreen even though my computer is set to a 16:9 resolution (1920x1080). As a result it doesn't look particularly appealing.

This is what it looked like on Windows 7.

This is what it looks like now on Windows 10. (Please excuse the different colouring in this picture, using a custom Graphics setting.)

Does anyone know a fix to this? This issue has also made scrolling with the right mouse button jerky and difficult as well.

Is still a newbie, is just about patience sometimes, anyways about your problem, is because sometimes Win10 adapts to give better resolutions whatever app the PC uses (I learn from from A8 and the Official Devs page)

They are two different resolutions, hence different FOVs. NFS:W auto-adjusts ingame display from its window. TBH it looks like a manual strech, might want to check your enb or whatever.

Both pictures were taken when I had the game set to 1920x1080 in-game.

I do not use ENB, it's a custom UserSettings file which gets rid of the tint that makes blue paints on cars not really exist.

Why did you resize them then? They are not in 1080p.

Alright, update.

Here's an updated image with the UserSettings now completely stock (no modifications done, game being run on 1920x1080 @ Fullscreen), and no resizing, everything being shown.

Notice how the car seems more wide than in the first picture on the first post? That's what it appears in Windows 10 versus Windows 7, which is what the first picture was taken in. I'm not using any different settings at all.

Just as a bonus, here's a couple other shots to try to show off what I'm referring to.

Free-Roam camera:

Behind car view:

And as another thing to note, the same behind view in a 4:3 resolution (1024x768)

Unless I'm going crazy, I really do notice a stretch issue here on both the 16:9 and 4:3 resolutions.

16:9 and 1080p or 720p is a standard in todays times.

I think nearly 80% has a widecsreen monitor at home and can play the game with max. settings (if the specs are enough).

4K resolution would be epic, but the textures are from the 90s, so there is now way to make them higher.

1080p does look stretched compared to 4:3 image below. Which gpu do you have your specs? Maybe you are forcing some settings in the gfx driver.

The 4:3 image is also stretched, like its trying to force widescreen on a non-widescreen resolution.

I run an AMD Radeon HD 8570 that came with my computer.. I really wish I had money to get me something more proper like a GTX 1060.

Do you have any chance of installing a Linux distro and testing with proprietary drivers? Windows 10 isn't very nice with ~old hardware.

Wish I could do that, but I don't wish to go through the hassle in case it does not pan out.
