offline server 1.7 source code / snow on new years day

I'm wondering if version 1.7 source code was archived and if it would be possible to download it. The only change I'm currently considering is to add snow to the golf course for New Years day. Perhaps this could be done without having all of the source code?

Even if I could get the 1.7 source code, what tools would I need to rebuild the offline server?

AFAIK every version of server includes a source, just look into src folder. Also i think you can change to winter in server editor but not sure.

You can activate the snow in the menu before you start the server. (You can activate the Halloween and New Year Eve modes as well)

What I wanted is snow on New Year's Eve. Version 1.8 does this, but I prefer running with version 1.7.
