can not race, exception caught
As a long time user of the off line server editor, it has always worked great but today I went to load the game and it loads up with an exception error caught, I can free roam and everything else except when loading up a race, it just sits at the loading screen and never starts the race.
I have tried using a fresh copy of the server editor, restarted computer, updated everything and no go.
Here is the error message.
Thanks in advanced for any help, running win10 laptop
EDIT
fix
windows was blocking and deleting rand.exe, fixed that by disabling defender and adding rand to the exception list.
Had to also reinstall the game files for races to then work.
Defender must have deleted needed game files, IDK
Thanks MKDK for the assistance.

rand.exe, make sure your antivirus is not removing it. It's located in www/server. If it's not there that's your problem.

Rand.exe is not there, however I dont even have aantivirus but when I did it could have removed it.
Ill try a new server editor again, this time redownload it instead of using my backup and see what happens, thanks
Edit
****, windows keeps blocking and deleting rand.exe and I have no idea how to allow it.
Any ideas on how to stop windows from deleting it?
I have no virus protection software either.
Windows even deleted the rar file of the server editor itself.
I have used it since the beginning and no clue why it's now doing this
edit
I disabled win defender and was able to redownload the server editor and get no exception caught error, however races still do not load, it just stays stuck at the loading race scene.
Man this sucks

Get to that sticky thread on top of the page and find and download 1.7 offline server from google drive. And instead of using the 2 kb rand.exe from 1.8 use the 10kb exe from 1.7. Windows won't block this one.
I think berkay said that the 1.8 rand.exe is for Windows XP compability?!? so it won't have any effect since you are using Win10. To be honest, I use the 1.7 rand.exe myself and never had any problems. Once you download the 1.8 rar, open it (don't extract it) and delete rand.exe from it. Then extract it and paste the 1.7 rand.exe in www/server and you are ready to go.
Good luck!
Here is the 1.7 link in case you can't find it. (Has every other version too)

Are you sure you are using the latest game build? And also make sure you have the 1.7 rand.exe. Most propably windows deleted it again.

I disabled defender and rand.exe is not being deleted and I am using the latest build of everything and still races will not start.
No idea why it is doing this when I was able to play from day one of the first server editor.
Could something be wrong with the game files themselves?

Unless you played around with the game files you won't have a problem there.
Are you calling the .exe server editor because that's how it was called in the older versions, or you really try to launch the game from something called Server Editor? I'm pretty sure it's OfflineServer in 1.8 (unless I changed it myself and forgot about it).
I had the same problem like you the first day 1.8 was released. Exception error and races wouldn't load. Putting back 1.7 rand.exe fixed it and never had a problem with the offline server never again.
If that didn't fix it... It should be working if Win Defender or your firewall is not blocking anything. I would send you my offline server to test but I can't right now. I have no idea mate. Keep trying. Good luck! If you can't make it work, send me a PM and I'll send you my offline server when I get the chance, so you can test it out.

I tried beta 1.7 and it errors out and wont start, plus I cant find a rand.exe in its folder, even browsing the google drive brings up no rand within its files.
IDK
EDIT
I reinstalled the game files and everything is working right.
no clue why but at least its working now, windows must have deleted something within the game files I assume

yah, I come here every day or so to read up on the game but since I exhausted my ability to help out with maps and glitched cars and adding every car possible to the dealership with help of others, I havent posted.
No clue why I had to readd the game files from scratch to get races to work but at least its working now.
Miss helping out but as I said I exhausted my ability to help.
Cant wait till they get the multi working :-)
