But from the sounds of it, you have corrupted them.
If you have original copies of them, then you can us them, if not, importing corrupt files, will not solve your issues, no matter how many times you try to start over with them.

My Server Editor has a read me, which contains a link to all kinds of persona saved files.
Just pick one, import it in, via the Server Editor button method and all your problems are gone.
That is if you do not have copies of your original getpersonainfo and car file, if it is the same ones you keep trying to start over with, with a corrupt carslot file, you will never fix your problems.

Plus, my read me explains how to add the 6th skill slot to the new persona you pick to import in, before even importing it in.
I suggest you not even import a new persona, just start my copy of the Server Editor,change the name, and begin to buy cars and start fresh.
If you do wish to import a persona, my read me explains how to add the 6th skill slot to that profile of cars, before even importing them in.

And again, after importing a persona in, forget all about those files.
Your personas and Driverpersona folders are the only thing you need to copy over to the next server editor update to transfer over your progress
The getpersonainfo and car file do nothing and importing them back in will only start you over from where they was in the first place and your personas and Driverpersona folders will revert and all your progress will be lost.

Import the getpersonainfo and car file in, and forget they even exist, your personas and Driverpersona folders are the only thing you need to make copies of to save your progress.

You will have the rar files of the getpersonainfo and car file, to extract, if needed to start over again.

Remember, to make a complete copy of the whole server editor folder and save somewhere, so incase you decide to play around with modifying the files to see what you can do, and end up screwing it up, you can just delete the whole Server Editor folder, make a new copy of the last copy, and not loose any of your progress and always have a fresh backup.

If you do manage to edit things to your liking, then make a copy of that one.
The whole server editor is a very small folder, so it's no huge deal to keep extra copies.
I have five different ones at the moment.
I name the folders Server Editor 1.7 (1) Server Editor 1.7 (2) etc.
This way, even if my latest version edit, appears to work, but later on, something weird begins to happen, I can just revert back to the previous version.

I enjoy attempting to edit the files for fun, it is almost more fun than actually playing.


BTW, thank Berkay and all those who have created the Mods, such as all tracks unlocked, all parts in the shop, etc.
All I have done, is gathered them up, and added them in one step at a time, and see what happens.
BTW, the purple icons on the map are not clickable, they are unfinished but usable tracks, you just have to actually drive to one on the map, and there you can join one.
Some are so unfinished, you can leave the race by taking a different road, let the computer racers finish, then do not cross the finish line and follow them around for fun.

I am proud of myself for fixing two basket car files, due to others who posted said car is not buyable, said cars HAT is corrupt.
BTW, I did not add in my latest car file fix to the "All Cars in Car Dealer to have 6 skill slots.rar" file.
It is this one

But if you have the "All Cars in Car Dealer to have 6 skill slots.rar" and plan to add it to a brand new Server Editor, you will have to replace the Nissan Silvia S15 Exclusive Edition in that basket file.

I am working on insuring I infact do have every car possible, and see no point of uploading a brand new "All Cars in Car Dealer to have 6 skill slots file" with it included in, until I have insured I have exhausted all possible cars needed added or repaired and then will add them all in to a new "All Cars in Car Dealer to have 6 skill slots file"
I currently will just add the car file separately as I find them and let people just add it in themselves.

Sorry for the delay in the answer, i have catched a cold and i was on bed using the laptop only.

Just a few minutes ago I tested your driver on my desktop and i cannot run your persona in it, with this i'm almost sure that this is a RAM problem with the server emulation with a heavy carslot file and runnig the game, in other words, the more "heavy" the carslot.xml is, more RAM you will need to run it. the problem is that at this point, nobody knows if berkay will release a new version of the offline server, and if this kind of issue could be solved

That's the error message with your driver (same error that i have with F4STB4ST4RD)

Your server works fine! Actually i'm using only yours that have all the stuff that i want (vinyls, parts, a/m etc).
For now i don't had trouble/error/bugs. Let's see forward what will happen, if i will have trouble i will pm you soon or later (i don't know cuz i'm not playing everyday)...

I'm making always as you said an entire backup of server (server 1.7, server 1.7 (2) etc...) so i'm sure of my backup progress.
My only trouble is always the two directory Driverpersona & personas in Engine.svc, when i made a test (copy-paste/replace on another server) and import with the new server seems doesn't work for me (my progress are gone). I don't know what i'm making wrong with this method or am i retarded? -.-
If you can make a video-tutorial when you have time only for this step (copy-paste/replace Driverpersona & personas directory and then import with new server) cuz i want to see what i'm making wrong...

Not all tracks can be played by pressing join SP, in some cases you have to use the event id changer trick.

Also there are some events that do not seem to have a join prompt anywhere - or perhaps they are hidden somewhere in the X event cluster, at the left edge of the map...

For example, this hidden event does not have a proper start point, but the AI bots who spawn on the road cannot finish the race either (probably track drawing stops there):

I found a bug that is driving me insane. It seems that if I try to change the parts on my Cobalt or even paint it a different color, the parts and color go on my Mazda3 which is my starter car. The bug only affects the Mazda3. My Cobalt stayed the same. I haven't changed ANYTHING at all in the server. Yes this IS my first post, but I am in no means a noob. If this bug has been solved with a fix, then politely point me to the relevant post. Searching turned up nothing unless I didn't look hard enough.

the only thing i can think of, is your carslots got corrupted some how. Now i dont profess to know it all and never have. But i found that if i sell the offending car and tune the one i want to fix up first. then rebuy the car and tune it the way it was, that seems to work for me. now, why? i dont know, but that bit works for me, hope it helps. srry i cant be of more help.

And i found that it is always a good thing to back up your carslot file, just in case.

It might be a good idea, I dont buy many cars as I have the ones I race and wanted already. So, if I do get said bug, its usally the last ones I have bought and I dont have to replace all my cars and start over. I just sell them and start them over.

Hello

Thanks to all the people contributing to this project. I'm using the server and I'm having a blast.

Only one thing, because I like to run with all the classes. So I tried the "No class restrictions" file but all it seems to do es change the information displayed on the map. All events show "Open" but if I try to run in what the original map was a Class B restricted in a Class D car, still I find that all my opponents are in Class B. Is this probably something hard coded on the game? I found that with the open events, in the original map, the matchmaking does a pretty decent job.
To clarify. What I expected is that having all events open (using the "No restrictions file"), if I run in a class C car, all my opponents or most of them are going to be class C.

I've tried everything, install-uninstall 10 times, different java, servers 1.1, 1.6, 1.7.
The 3-d cmd window closes after 2 seconds.

Guys, Look and see if your computer is blocking files from the server. Sometimes the computer will block files and make them unavailable for use if downloaded from the internet to be safe.
