Dunno if anyone wants it but i made a zip with a bunch of new skins for the maps hud, just yea randomly found the image for it n though bugger it i'l change it lol...
basically all you need to do is go to the file location "(C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\Media\map_textures)" and
add the images then delete the "(color)" and the "()" out of the name of the picture you want as your map, and add something to the
name of the original's name so the game doesn't use that one or get confused...
all i did was use photo shop on the image so you can do what you like with it, I'm going to add more with cars in the background etc.
no reason you cant do the same :P lol...
coz this link is file shack i only just signed up for it n noticed after i uploaded the zip, its only gunna be up for 5 days but im adding the images separately on imgur instead...

and the full zip with like 17 different colors half are in negative so have white in the backround:
