Maybe because you are running around, saying to everyone to delete iexplore.exe. Go on people, just delete it. Haha. And if you close your browser, those iexplore processes will disappear. If not, just force close them. Obviously you have no idea what are you talking about because any idiot can see that iexplore.exe in the task manager as soon as you start Internet Explorer (which is iexplore.exe). Then close them, and they will not be there. Magic.

Yes, I think it was a big mistake he did ^^
But I actually think that he got his virus from another program or similar...

Yes, I admit it is starting iexplore.exe.
The ad window is an Internet Explorer window and I have said this already numerous times.
It is a built-in feature of Cheat Engine 6.1 to support CE. See the CE source-code for more detailed info (or ask about it on the CE forum).
I didn't say it is not using Explorer. In fact I have stated it right at the start when this ad feature was added.
I also said, if someone doesn't like it, don't use it. There are enough people who are happy with it even this way.
Here is just an example out of the many, where I have already mentioned this:

(post at the bottom of the page).
I have given up on hoping that every people will learn to read someday.

There is nothing to explain. He says that iexplore.exe is a virus. Check your shortcut for Internet Explorer and guess what, it points to iexplore.exe. Case solved. If anyone is thinking that it is a virus, delete it. But don't come back complaining that you have problems with Explorer because I will just laugh on it.

The error he gets is a general error. It can be software problem (some Windows file is corrupt or driver problem) or it can be hardware too, like VGA or RAM error etc.
Not like it matters in this case but it may be a useful info for someone.
And his error was in gv3.sys as it is written below on the picture.

Related Microsoft article about the error:
But for your convenience:
Quote:
This article discusses the reasons why Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) may display a "STOP 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error message on portable computers that have an Intel Pentium M mobile processor. This error message may appear when users switch the computer from utility (AC) power to battery (DC) power, or vice versa.
This problem may occur on a portable computer that is running an Intel Pentium M (Centrino) mobile processor if the Gv3.sys processor driver is force-installed on Windows XP SP2.
The Gv3.sys processor driver was released to support processor power management features on Intel Pentium M mobile processors that run Windows XP and Windows XP SP1. This driver is now obsolete and is not supported on Windows XP SP2. The Gv3.sys processor driver has been replaced by the Intelppm.sys processor driver. The Gv3.sys processor driver may have been incorrectly force-installed on Windows XP SP2 by an OEM driver utility installation program.
To resolve this problem, use the following methods to restore your processor driver to the correct driver. The correct driver, Intelppm.sys, was included with Windows XP SP2.
To determine which processor driver is installed, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
2.In Device Manager, expand Processors.
3.Right-click Intel Pentium M processor, and then click Properties.
4.Click the Driver tab.
5.Click Driver Details.
If your Windows XP SP2 system is using the Gv3.sys processor driver, you must update to the Intelppm.sys processor driver to correct this problem. To do this, follow these steps.
1.Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
2.In Device Manager, expand Processors.
3.Right-click Intel Pentium M processor, and then click Update Driver.
The Driver Update Wizard will start.
4.If you are prompted Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?, click No, not at this time, and then click Next.
5.Click Install the software automatically (Recommended), and then click Next.
6.Click Finish.
You must restart your computer to complete the installation.

Short story: His problem is not even in Explorer...
What can you achieve with a little reading. Miracles.
