Anfangs, in der Entwicklungsphase, wurde das Projekt noch Class 3 genannt und sollte als Technik Test für das MMORPG in Zombiemanier mit dem Namen Class 4 herhalten. Mittlerweile wird das Werk State of Decay genannt und ist beinahe fertig.
