I don't think he took anyone's money.
The problem is that @Marius doesn't speak english very well and it's hard to understand what he says sometimes.
He just posted informational post that about the hack and he gave his prize for it.

He should have told us that the hack isn't ready (and propably won't be ready) in the first post.
