Fortunately, I have found a "hack" that actually works.. although it may not be what you are expecting. It's actually an auto farm bot called "GunsBot" that earns resources for your main account. It's used mainly by Chinese players and up to now has been unavailable to the rest of us. This version is in English and verified working in the US and UK by my alliance.
I am personally using this bot to farm silver and iron, auto build my accounts and auto shield when needed. It comes with quite a few features to play with.
The only problem I have with this "hack" is its expensive. ($30 USD per month on a 6 month license). Sure, paying the game developers themselves with cost 10x more, however if you aren't currently spending money in game - This may be out of the budget.
You can run this cheat from your computer, on one of their bot servers (which I currently use as I can manage it from my android), or use their service that they do it all for you.
On a rating scale, i'd give it a B+ overall. What's nice is that the staff has a super active discord channel with 6k members or so that are always willing to help.
Summary: Stop looking for "hacks" - They don't exist as this is a server side game. (Trrst me, i've spent countless hours looking). If you want a real and working "cheat" - It's an auto farm bot called "GunsBot"
