Server IP: swinecraftmc.no-ip.org
Version : 1.4.5 | Capacity : 100
Our world has been created with terrain control allowing a lot of customization. It has a diameter of 8000 blocks, more than 100 custom objects and over 30 custom biomes ranging from great overhangs and large underground caves to scorched lands and sea reefs. Vanilla biomes are also there. New map height is fully exploited. The map design and lore has been influenced by Avatar: The Last Airbender series.
We use the MCMMO plugin for a smooth rpg experience. MCMMO skills offer you balanced benefits, which increase the more you exercise the corresponding activities (for example cutting wood raises woodcutting).
Experience curve, many skills, treasures, drops and requirements have been customized to be more rewarding and meaningful.
The Factions plugin allows the creation of factions/guilds, which can claim territory that will be protected from outsiders. Factions can forge alliances or wage wars and claim their enemies' land for their own.
Every inhabitant of Swinecraft has the potential to use magic. The type of magic one can learn depends on his land of origin / birthplace. There are 4 lands to choose from: Earth, Fire, Water and Air, each one with strengths and weaknesses. The land of origin also determines your starting location.
Swinecraft's economy is a meaningful and rewarding one. Money actually matter and getting rich comes with a lot of advantages like claiming large parts of land for your faction or learning a large variety of spells and becoming a force to be reckoned with.
The economy is based on gold while monster drops have also been customized and drop some random amount of money when slain. Being in a party nets you more rewards than being alone.
The ultimate goal of our rules is to, above all, ensure fair play and player enjoyment. Please take your time to read them carefully (open the spoiler), as we have zero tolerance to rule breaking.
Section I. General Rules
1.Not any forms of griefing. This includes but is not limited to causing deliberate harm to other players' structures, or modifying them without mutual agreement.
2.Not any forms of cheating or exploiting. This includes but is not limited to all possible client modifications that give unfair advantage in gameplay or using a flaw in server's software to get such advantage. We also have a way of determining transparent texture pack usage over a period of time so we strongly discourage that.
3.Not any forms of verbal harassment.
4.Any construction that deliberatly increases monster spawning rate is not permitted(ex. Mob grinders).
5.Make good use of faction chat. Avoid spamming the main channel.
Section II. Code of Construction
Server's administration is aiming at keeping the most neat and good-looking map. Do your best at building. Avoid mud huts, cobblestone monsters and shapeless buildings. Any substandard structure can be subjected to removal without notice. Repetitive violations of this code will lead to various penalties.
Section III Code of Warfare
Disregarding Rule 2 of Section I, faction that claims the other faction's land, is free to make limited modifications to the structures on the claimed plots, provided that such modifications will not exceed 0.1% of total blocks in the claimed chunks. How do I know when to stop You may ask? Quite simple. Do not grief intentionally. 0.1% is enough to loot the chests of opposing faction and to add some details to represent that the structure in dispute is now seized by your faction. As long as you follow this guideline, You will stay withing 0.1% rule. This rule had been implemented to safeguard decent creations from destruction during faction conflict and to draw a line between griefing and warfare.
Section IV Role-playing code
As many aspects on this server are RP-driven, following general roleplaying stream is required. Players who continuously disrupt roleplay will be subjected to penalties up to membership termination.
Section V Support and feedback
Quickest and the most reliable method of getting support from server's administration is by posting in corresponding section. Bugging staff members in-game may be left without attention.
If You do not like something, or have a suggestion or any other kind of feedback, feel free to post on the forum. Do not use in-game chat for that as such feedback will most likely go unnoticed.
