I need a NEWER version of M2 extractor (epk/eix files)

Hi everyone,

I am a almost new member on this forum and i don't know german language at all. So far i have used "M2 File Archiver Version 2.8 ALPHA S585189" (compiled at Nov 1 2010 using G.C.C. 4.5.1) and everything have worked! After the last update (i had to download it) with the "M2 File Archiver" i can extract every epk/eix file of metin2. But when i compress the files back to their original form (epk/eix) and replace the original files under the "PACK" folder and finally start metin2client.bin, i'm getting an error message as follows: for example using the root file: "ROOT.EPK IS IN AN OLDER VERSION. USE PATCHER TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW ONE!!!"

If i do this you can understand that every change i have made in root.epk - root.eix will be lost. Can anyone helps me with that? For your information the client i use is for Metin2.GR

Metin2.DE patched this some days/weeks ago.
If Metin2.GR did the same you are no longer able to modify your client.
I don't know what's the patch exactly includes but I think there
will not help a newer version of a extractor.

Thaks guys for your quick reponse... But the answer represents my "BAD LUCK". The only thing i wanted is the removing of the fog and the raising of zoom out. Every "HACK" except the "simple" modify of the client, drives to the catching of HACKSHIELD
Anyway, Thanks again for everything
