Reverse Engineering & Bypass: Dealing with "Miss" Damage after Bypassing Private Serv
Hello everyone,
Greetings to all members and experts in the community.
I am currently working on a personal project to bypass the anti-cheat protection of a private server. With the help of an AI assistant, I have managed to reach a very advanced stage, achieving the following:
Successfully bypassed the protection system and launched the client.
Reached the login screen and successfully logged in with a character.
Complete stability in-game, with the following features working perfectly:
Free movement and seamless transitions between maps.
Trading systems and item exchanges.
Fishing, gathering, and other general mechanics.
The Issue I'm Facing:
Everything works flawlessly, except for the damage values when attacking monsters, Metin stones, or other players. Every time an attack is performed, "Miss" appears continuously, and no actual damage is registered or dealt.
It seems to me that the attack packets sent from the client are either failing server-side validation or a specific cryptographic signing/checksum mechanism related to damage calculation was affected or disabled during the bypass process.
Request for Assistance:
I would greatly appreciate it if experts and developers experienced in Reverse Engineering, Anti-Cheat bypasses, or Private Server development could share insights on the potential causes of this issue. How can I properly hook, trace, or fix these attack packets to resolve the "Miss" problem and successfully complete this project?
Thank you all in advance for your time and expertise!
