How to play metin2 on ubuntu

isn't possible, the hshield needs to install a driver, which is incompatible with wine.

Metin Works Under linux complete
Metin works under linux OS using many different programs most popular ones are :
vmware ( u can download from )
&
wine ( can download it from

There is a problem using wine on linux, Metin2 runs, but fonts are almost unreadable, it's difficult to read some numbers, check quests or chatting.

Solution: Copy the windows fonts (C:\windows\Fonts) to your wine directory (/home/username/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts)
I used the fonts from my win XP installation, all text is now much better readable and it solves those same font problems in other windows applications running on wine as well.

Solution 2: For those who don't have windows installed on their PC, or no access to the windows partition, you can use Winetricks to get the fonts.

You are able to do this on one partition there no need to have two, just remember to use one of the programs, vmware i believe is the best.

Very nice guide And your english is good! But i think it is to diffecult withe wine. If he had a good computer with fast CPU and much RAM he can play Mt2 on a VMware under Windows 7 or what ever...
