New version don't have default keys.
You need to configure profile and add default lzo keys. I think data key it's changed. xD

Are you sure the index key is correct? People seem to forget that in order to change the encryption keys you need to UNPACK everything first with the original ones and only then change them... That being said, please upload the eter pack you were trying to process aswell as the profile settings file so I can reproduce the issue.

There are no "lzo keys", LZO is a compression algorithm.

I'm actively looking for a solution which doesn't compromise code safety and doesn't raise false positives (I'm well aware that a skilled and determined reverser would slice through the protection scheme like butter), but there aren't that many for the .NET framework... If you have any good suggestions, I'd love to hear them

You can actually contact the companies with their report false positive programs.

You can describe that that you're using a packer for example and they will analise and remove the false positive.

thanks for your'e release... everything is working fine within an exeption of unpacking gr2 files.
So it means that i don't get any Error and when the "metin2_patch_dawnmist_dungeon.epk/eix" is unpacked it won't unpack the gr2+dds files so the folder looks like this:



but it should looks like this:



already tried to unpack in Raw, LZO and Xtea but nothing happens.

PS: the second one iv'e unpacked with the EterNexus but all the gr2+dds files are corrupted...

Please upload the files you were trying to process aswell as the profile settings file.

Das ist jetzt mal ein Beispiel den da funktionierte es auch nicht ... ich habe nun das halbe internet durchsucht und überall gelesen, das es immoment noch nicht möglich ist den DE-Clienten zu entpacken (stimmt das?)

man kann den kompletten Metin2.de client entpacken.
nur nicht mehr mit den tools die es zu finden gibt.
sondern auf andere art & weise.
es gibt einige leute hier auf epvp die das können
aber werden mit sicherheit ihre tools bzw ihr wissen nicht
veröffentlichen. den du weißt ja wie die community geworden ist

Describe the issue you're experiencing here so it may help everyone. On another note, the default index key is WRONG, you need to change it to: B9-9E-B0-02-6F-69-81-05-63-98-9B-28-79-18-1A-00 (if you're using the default one, obviously).

A new version should be released in the next few days featuring an auto-update module aswell as some minor fixes and a few other new things.

- The app now features a fully automatic auto-update module (still in testing)
- A bug which somtimes crashed the program when a null profile was selected from the main view was fixed
- A small memory leak was found and corrected
- Several UI and localization improvements
- Fixed invalid default index key
- Improved uncaught exceptions handling

Notes:

- The app communicates with an API to retrieve the latest versions and eventually download them, feel free to monitor its traffic.
- I no longer use Themida as the protector/packer given the frequent reports of faulty behavior. A new one has taken its place.
