This doesn't make any sense.
The max. amount you can save in a byte are 4 minutes and 15 seconds (with Inyas correction) 255 minutes, if the comparison of the byte is unsigned. If it's signed only 127 minutes.

0A = 10 = 10 minutes switchtime. The first dif for 0 works. The others arent seconds. Its minutes
