I know the first two values are x and y scale. I would be grateful if anybody told me what the other 5 mean

I can only guess but i think 3 of it are:
Rotation, Opacity, Lightlevel
Maybe just change one of it to a high level with an big red X texture on white background on a test flat map. So you can exactly see whats changing
