[HELP] Protecting .eix and .epk files againist unpacking
I know... It's bad section. I'm VERY sorry. But... In Discussions & Questions are so noob questions. This information is very important for me.
I want to protect my files from /pack/ folder. They are very important and I don't want to someone steal it. But I don't know how. I know , that German Servers have that files protected ( Other encryption key in Your packer). Could you tell me how to do it ? Please do not delete this topic. If you want to answer , could You use english ? If you can't use english post in German, Maybe I will manage to translate it

Alta schwede, seid ihr doch hilfreich. Manchmal muss man nicht einfach nur Spamen(Reporten) sondern kann ihm auch sagen, dass er in der falschen Section ist. Vielleicht weiss er das ja nicht??

Hi,
Change magic LZO key. You also have to change key in .bin to read the pack archives.
Sry I can't tell you more cause don't know all about this.
little help: There is a crypter in the net who changes key. There is a changed .bin in the download packet also. But you cant change the key , it is a test version...
The website also sells a full version for 70€.

Hi,
abcth134 pls delete the url in your post.
The website is selling a programm with part of tim's work in it.
So this is the reason that tim doesn't release his crypter....

They deleted Credits too... It's unfair , because archiver is tim's work.
I wrote a PM to tim . Maybe he can help me

Orban, but main.cpp is code for Metin2 File EXTRACTOR , I want to PACK my archives, not UNPACK sombodies.

komplett fail es ist nur eine einzige exe und dll dafür nötig mehr brauchst ausser halt noch den verschlüssler  du nich und soweit ich weiss is der verschlüssler echt schon pub link weiss ich aber auch nich sry

ich dachte das man in der bin auch was ändern muss, dass sie mit verschlüsselten epk's/eix's arbeiten kann
hatte auf jeden fall tim mal gesagt

unpacking files with UPX

does anyone know how to unpacka file with UPX.. i have upx but if i try and run the exe nothing happens, well the dos window opens and closes before anything can be seen, and when i drop a dll onto the exe it just compresses it and doesnt give me the option of decompressing anyone know how to set it otherwise?
