[HELP!!!]Metin2 ServerFiles Into FTP

Hi,

I have created a metin2 server, with virtualbox, but I can't run the game because I didn't uploaded the files to the FTP, because I don't know where!
I don't know what's the folder to upload the ServerFiles!

Help Pls ...

ok, why do you want to upload it to a ftp-server ? it works without it, too.

I'll explain better:

I have a Free BSD Operating system, that I created in VirtualBox, ready for load metin2 serverfiles, but I have to upload the files to the FreeBSD FTP server, in order for it to load the files, but I don't know what's the folder to upload it..
I was wondering if someone can give me a Tutorial

I still don't understand

I have 2 files one is called installer.sh and other is called game.tar(.gz extension)
I have to put those 2 files in /usr/home/ folder?

yes and then you have to install it with virtualbox
i don't know how it really works but i know this step sry
you must type in virtualbox some (i dont know how it's in english but google translator ftw) Befehle to start the installer.sh

well, just upload the 2 files into ya /home or /usr/home directory, chmod 777 2 your installer.sh & execute it with

./installer.sh or sh installer.sh

the installer will ask u some stuff like : which "home" directory ( /home ) or / ( /usr/home ) and more.
but, make sure you have the right libs, if u dont have them, the installation will be abort, cuz the server need them to runup, and requiered by "qc"

and don't upload it via. "ftp" ( Port 21 ) it dont work. | SFTP ( Port 22 ) <- that will work!

It appears a message to me, everytime I try to install:
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared Object "libstdc++.so.4" not found, required by "qc"

I try to copy "libstdc++.so.4" to the lib folder but it says:
"/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.4: open for write: permission denied"

And I didn't understood the part of "make sure, u have created an MySQL server with the database & some requiered users."

I have to CREATE one MySQL server? Or I just acess the ServerFiles Sql Server?

This Libs are missing in /lib.

Upload it & the server works
Give the 5 Libs you have to upload chmod 777.

I think in the 1st place I need to "unlock" something to "have permission" to put the files in /lib folder, which I don't know how to..

Sry but this is the 1st time I try to create a metin2 server with this server files, I created because in the instant server, I wanted to put lvl 120 but I didn't have the "rain" folder in /usr/ ... so I am trying to run a server with this files... :S

Ok I made it, I placed sucessfully the lib files in lib folder n' I have installed the server but it doesn't work!!!!!!

so, first reported cuz doublepost

So, well dude.. i told u, the libs have to exist, or u can't install your server, libs are requiered by qc etc, we need them, to runup our gameserver.

just download the libs here in the end of the guide:



& put them into /lib ,reboot your server and try again !
