Hm.
Also ich glaub, dass dein ROOT
nicht die nötigen Rechte zum entpacken hat.
Kann mich aber auch täuschen.
Werde mal etwas googlen
EDIT: Ich würde mal sagen es liegt am FreeBSD.
Habe das hier gefunden ( auf englisch )
My guess: you are probably trying to install PCBSD on a not-allocated space on your HD (or all the HD has not-allocated space), i.e. no partition available even if free space is available.
You may want to try to first create the partition as "primary" even if not formatted, and then try to install PCBSD.
This is what just happened to me when trying to install PCBSD 7.0.1 in dual-boot with XP:
1) I had the HD with only WinXP;
2) I resized the partition to something like 55% of space, thus the rest 45% was unallocated free space;
3) when trying to install PCBSD 7.0.1 in this 45% unallocated free space gave me the same error of "Seek failed: Invalid argument", and installation aborted;
4) With an software tool I created a "primary" partition with the 45% of the free space;
5) retried to install PCBSD on it ..... and worked!
Hope this helps!
Da gehts zwar um PC-BSD, aber das ist fast dasselbe.
Es liegt also an den Dateien.
