How to unpack and compress files on clients with newer serverfiles?

Hello everyone, I haven't worked with Metin2 servers for many years. I recently downloaded a serverfile called Ava2. However, I can't unpack the client files inside the Pack folder, such as locale, root, item, monster and others, because the extension seems to have changed.

I used to use a program called EnterNexus to extract and PackArchive to compress again, but they don't work anymore. Before the extensions were .EIX and .EPC, but now it seems to have changed and the extension name doesn't even appear. I've searched several forums for an answer and so far I haven't found anything. Can anyone help me?

Although the file extensions have been changed, the contents of the files are likely decrypted and read in the same way as with conventional clients. Unfortunately, this key is already thrown into RAM when the game starts, allowing experienced users to read it using cheat engines or other reverse engineering tools. Once you have the key, all you need to do is update your unpacker and you'll be able to open these files without any problems.

The main problem with the clients will be the patcher anyway, because the starters are often built into the patcher, which sometimes makes it almost impossible to start the modified client without it restoring the files to normal. So you'll have to break the patcher as well, or make it skip the process. Back then, everything was simple. Server files had standardized clients and binary files, so it wasn't a problem to connect with your own client. All you needed was the Pong and the server's IP. Today, everyone has new systems in their server/client, and if these were missing from your own client, the server would most likely kick you or close the game.
