Change charset in db

Hello,
I need to use special characters like: "ěščřžýáíé" and when I run up database (server), it says: "Setting DB to locale latin1"

I have changed charset in conf.txt, I have changed charset in ClientManager.cpp also (in db).. And it is not still change..

Can you help me please?
Where should I rewrite it?
