FreeBSD is Unix system, Linux is based on Unix too, but they are completely different systems. Game core is written for FreeBSD server, so you have your answer. Use FreeBSD. Not Ubuntu or other Linux.

pretty easy to compile it on debian

das problem ist ja benutze ein raspberry pi 2 kann nur linux draufspielen und freebsd habe ich kein image für den raspberry pi 2 gefunden!
