Das MySQL Passwort kannst du relativ einfach neu abändern:

# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server stop

# /usr/local/bin/mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &

# mysql -hlocalhost -uroot -e "Update mysql.user Set Password = PASSWORD('DEINPASSWORT') Where User = 'root'; Flush Privileges"

# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server restart
