I think this can all be found on the internet but fine, if you need help to gather such information..
First learn an easy language like VB.Net.
Then start playing around with Cheat Engine and Cheat Engines Tutorial.exe.
Start making Cheat Engine hacks for easy offline single player games.
After you know how to do such things start learning c++ and memory management
After that learn Assembly (low level programming language). Try messing around in Cheat Engines Memory Viewer, there you can see the games assembly code.
There are many reverse engineering tutorials in the internet.
1. This will take time. Of course it depends on how talented and interested in the topic you are. Don't expect to be a master at programming hacks in half a year.
2. This isn't a "you have to do it like this, else it won't work" guide, it's just what I did and it worked out. If you don't want to learn vb.net first, then don't do it. Just an advice :)
