Hello friend.
I just released a new version of the PPOBot which greatly increased accuracy of pokemon detection. Guess i was wrong with my statement "i can't do something about the fail detections".
(Accuracy increased from 86% to 100% in my tests (76 unique pokemon names tested).)
You don't need to specify pokemon similar to your desired encounter anymore.
Also there are a lot more improvements, so go get the update
