yes shift + del to remove, and you need a retainer macro + hotkeys assigned to navigating menus, and your retainer inventory needs to be set as Exapnded.
Kujah , does it not work "always" under a certain retainer, or does it simply get "lost in menus?
It works like 95% of the time here, when it doesnt I just have to run it again.
