Hi, I have read your proxy FAQ thread. it is very informative. However, i am facing some problems that is detering my attempt to write my own proxy.

Here is a quick description of what i have so far. Construct a proxy object that opens a ServerSock(listen to clients), for each connected client, open a new Socket to connect to server. Construct 2 threads based on IOStreams obtained from client-prox and server-prox sockets; 1 thread does only the upstream packet, another thread handles downstream packets.

Here is where my problem arises. I searched everywhere for the auth encrpytion, but found non. I am not sure if the old QOProxy source's auth encryption(if it has one) is usable, besides it is pretty much unreadable.

I would like to get past the auth stage and obtain the keys for DH exchange before proceeding further. Would you be able to help me with a little push? Thanks in advance.
