to repack them you need to make a resources flder and put them into the correct directory where resource.pak is. make sure the files are in the folder and when you run the patcher program, it will pack the files into the resource.pak file.

Perhaps it is possible to edit the cool-downs, damage or range of the skills found in the skills.bin and other possible .bin files such as setitems.bin. Maybe they are server-sided and any edits will have no effect in-game which I'm not sure of but i couldn't ascertain that as I cannot repack them from the .bin files into .pak files. Perhaps you could try this as well. =)

btw, a live exe hack is possible by freezing the game guard and client before gameguard can initialize and hide itself and the exe file, and all that needs to be done is changing write protections. i've gotten edda to do semi funky things but nothing useful. I also knw there are at least 10 needed files in the pak file resources. I used a hex editor to delete crap and it turns out the stuff i deleted where char animations and stuff...this game feels so hackable...i can taste it but its just out of reach for now.

my most notable ability is to play clients unpatched...or even manually de-patch. I wish i could do this with luna for the skills hack ( bypassing the patch would be easy from what i read in the memory) but i was late to the luna hack glory days with the editted bin file for skills...and therefore i can't learn and depatch the game. maybe if i could find a super old client installer from the time the skills.bin in luna was hacked i could work with it...but for now my focus is on edda.

yeah. i am working on hacks. it would be easier if i could edit the ingame memory directly..but i don't knw the first thing about disabling game guard. i have been learning to live exe memory hack on games that don't use game guard, and i've been quite successful in getting a client to work how i want it ( even server sided games...the exe contrls whats sent. i find it easier than using hex with WPE sometimes). I am a beginner hacker...but thats what makes it fun...learning how things work. I am not a programmer, i am working on being a chemical engineer..but these things i do on the side. I have the feeling this game is easily hackable because all values and skills, and everything ( except maybe char data) are in those pak files. I have read the client patcher to see if they maybe use some weird stuff...but idk what i'm looking for. i've found things on tiff stuff, czip and a bunch of this other crap but nothing helped there.
