there are a few standard rules that apply by every1
it is maybe easyer to learn them before you start asking this question

1) do not ask for a rank , they will ask it to you
2) if not anounced or they dont ask it , then dont ask after it
3) if appying , then do a full explain like
hey (username) , i am good in game as pm for reason 1 and 2 and 3 ..

so they got full info over you and they can trust you
