Good question, this requires understanding how HWID bans actually work architecturally.
Simply put, anti-cheat isn't just looking at your MAC address. The way you've changed it isn't enough - I can guarantee that. You've probably changed it in Windows or Tmac, which only does a Windows override. It doesn't change your permanent physical address, which is something queried by EAC, in this case.
You'd need to manually spoof it with a deep understanding of HWID spoofing, because it's not just your MAC. You can't expect it's only that one identifier. There's multiple, a lot more than just MAC, sadly.
Using a spoofer or a provider that's done all the work for you is the better choice.
I can see you're seeking to play legit. Verse permanent spoofer would be an
excellent, inexpensive option for you. It saves your time, it's worth your time, and it's
EAC-ready for multiple titles.
