in VMware i get kicked off MS2 every 5 minutes or so with an error.

They actually made some patches. Spoofing your WMI is not enough anymore.
I didn't do any further research.

Proof of Concept may be:
1. Locate/Identify how they check if ran in a VM
2.
3. patch/bypass 1.
