How do middlemen handle paypal chargebacks?

I'm just wondering, don't know if thats the right place to ask, but if a middleman mediates in a trade and gets 500€ paypal from the buyer for example, then completes the trade, gives the seller his 500€, and then gets a chargeback from paypal?

Pretty sure they might keep any Proof of trade happening to dispute the trade with PayPal if needed.

ONLY way they themselfs can BE safe from scammers that do that as well.
