Minimize Lag x_X

For the passed week and a half my entire laptop would lag very badly when mabinogi is minimized and I have no idea why this is.

I have tried restarting my laptop and tried system restoring my setting backwards by one day but nothing changed, so I'm kind of stumped on that.

It never really used to do this up until a week ago, and I never installed anything.

You have a million problems with that laptop.
Does it meet the basic requirements for win7..?

Haha well, this never used to be a problem, and yes I do have all the basic requirements.

This is a problem that only just begun recently.

I do think it has something to do with a lag tutorial that I used and it made me disable some things..

The game runs faster but I noticed that my MSN icon doesn't show up for some strange reason ever since I used that guide, and thats when the problem started occuring.

Although, I tried to find that guide through my history and it wasn't showing up so i'm kinda stuck and ashamed of my carelessness.

If I had to take a stab at what is causing the problem is this:

You used some type of MTU edit which set your MTU low and is causing pages, speeds, etc. to decrease and not load at all. The way you can fix this is to google TCPOptimizer and use it in order to reset your MTU value/adapter configurations and see if that works. If not I really have no idea maybe someone more experienced can help you out.

Edit: You might also have the Minimize CPU Reduction set to 1, which can make your computer lag if you have that on and it's at 100% reduction.

Yes sir, I have fiddled around with TCPOpt, but I'm not quite sure if it did anything, but I can give it another look.

And where can I find CPU Reduction?

I changed some settings in TCPOpt and now my ingame speed is a lot faster.

But the minimize lag is still there. (Doesn't know where to find CPU Reduction)

lalala well, tiara makes mabinogi lag more when smaller screen. Why? I dont know, i just know it does that lol.

MTU =/= anything graphical, and Red Death is saying that his/her laptop experiences immense CPU load when the mabinogi window is minimised.

In regards to the fix, simply reinstall windows, as you don't know what you did for the fix that you mentioned.

Sorry for the double post ^^;; But I don't think it would be a good idea to make another post for this question ._.
