Setting:
As we should know, the NA client only utilizes the Alphanumeric.TTF for our font which is displayed to us on Mabinogi. Of course, the rendering, or something isn't quite up to par. We utilize direct edits within memory--or use a memory patcher to enable changes. Those being the Bitmap use, or enabling the data folder for a good ol' .TTF swap.
--------------
Question:
Now, the JP client uses the exact files--and more. In this case, we're allowed the japanese.TTF, korean.TTF, etc etc.
I was hoping someone could explain to me... exactly where and how do these fonts become utilized in JP Mabi as compared to NA Mabi?
By looking through the Pleione.dll as a general place to look, there are minuscle changes throughout the entire library in regards to everything, not just cultural information and render options. So I was hoping someone with experience in this area could point me in the right direction before I start doing a lot of:
68 80 1B E3 63 : 68 78 1B E3 63 [Wildcard lol]
If I fail at the above, I'll probably take a closer look to the Client.exe itself--perhaps Renderer2?? I sort of doubt the latter though. lol
As to why I'm trying to figure this out... I have NO idea! I'm learning here; I also wanted to have the knowledge of this for future... ventures.
TL;DR: Could someone please tell me how to enable all of the .TTFs? Sounds like a leeching question, but I'm honestly trying. Thanks!
