Unhappy Need help locating dmg modifiers?

So, last night, around this time, I had the brilliant idea to wase my free time by modding mabinogi so I could smash for, not 500%, but 500000% damage ("Desert dragon slayer with a single blow", anyone?) As well as mod the critical and maybe the lucky finish rates. However, that was almost 24 hours ago. I havn't slept in that time, barely eaten, my eyes are dry, I have a throbbing, pounding head... ect, and all I have to show for it is.... I have nothing to show for it. I cannot, for the life of me, find the modifiers scattered among the various DLLs. So I decided to call in some expert help. Can anyone point me to their location? I can do the rest, I just need an L-rod... and of course I would upload the finished product. (I'd add a smiley but I'm too... *passes out*)

I will respect your lack of knowledge as a beginner and say this, you cannot modify damage. I apologize. And if hypothetically you were to find out how, and released it to the public it'd be so overused it'd get patched faster than you can lick a tootsie-pop to the center(if its possible).

Reminds me of when I tried to get to Nekojima, and that was a known possible. Sigh, never did. Damage calculation is server sided, by the way. There's nothing in the DLLs about it.

Anyways, its completely server sided. That would technically not be a "mod"; it would be translated as a "Hack" (Mods /=/ Hack).
Either way, it isn't doable. Even if it were, Nexon has a pretty strong security and will patch it right away.

It can be done... if you hack into Nexon's servers... which is illegal

Anyway, I do have some ideas on how to do this. But it would require a fair amount of editing (Not just simple jmp changes). But if it works I am NOT releasing it.

Oh, and you can kind of do it with packet editing: (This is a duel)

But is that registered as valid damage? I mean, did the guy actually receive that much?

With packet editing or a dll edit (I don't remember which one), you were able set the damage rate in a duel to more than 100%. This is why the guy received that much damage.

Oh, so that's how you hacked it. DLL hacks would work on this one. But can't you packet edit damage (to anything) as well? Since the RNG for damage is client-based, you can just edit the packet sending the damage amount right? This usually works for most games like this.
