Fastcook on Vista.
I downloaded the fastcook in rawk0rs thread, but when I try to hook it tells me to start mabinogi up again and run as administrator. I do this, and repeatedly get the same error even though I'm doing what it says. Anyone know what the problem is? :\

Actually you can still get fast cook to work on Vista.
I have vista and fastcook works fine.
Erm I don't quite remember what I did but... I'll edit this when I figure out what i did.
Edit: Try using this fast cook instead  Got it from this thread:

Vistas oppressive UAC destroys the ability to use basic programs... If you want it to work easy for you run it on a VMware version of XP.

:x Downloaded this. Still getting the Administrator problem. I run mabinogi as administrator and the message still pops up . Any suggestions?

or you know, you could always just log on as the administrator.
(not admin privileges, THE admin [root admin])

what the hell are you all bawking about?
injecting mabiraccoon makes fastcook work on vista, tho sometimes you need to redo it once or twice

Mabiracoon is a bypass for a different game completly, just renamed and posted here (no offence DR, but i believe you stated it yourself once too.) bolly for you if it works, but the masses needs a real bypass or some of that epic brain.exe

I did everything with the files, ran as admin, and disabled UAC. What am I doing wrong ;_; .

Until today, i have been using fastcook with imagesearch and jinsunogi patch. It worked well and i was able to hook fastcook with mabinogi for hours o: But suddenly it decided to not work for me anymore. I keep on getting an error about an admin issue. The error states:

hi there, Im new to this place and is wondering how fastcook works.
everytime i try to hook the game it keeps saying permission error. right-click mabinogi icon and run as admin then restart mabinogi.
Im always admin and even after trying this it wont work. Also, when i was looking at the food tab, not all the words are in english and I cant seem to find cheese bread(mixing) or fried egg(baking) If possible can you please explain how to set up auto cooking

k i have the itemdb.ini, itemdb.english.txt, and the rest of the files that come with it, and done all the instructions. Now what do i do with the item.ini? would subing it mabi have a impact? or do i use the number things in sub for something else?
