Honestly I like that you would like to call yourself fickle. It makes me curious about you as a person and shows that you're willing to shove societal norms back where they came from.

My only gripe is that you used a really bad metaphor. Flowers rarely change their ways and with stoicism continue to live how and as they always have. In terms of a better metaphor using nature imagery... how about "fickle as a swallow"?

If you want something with alliteration then "fickle as fog" might be good, it's mysterious as well as transient and occasionally unpredictable. The swallow is migratory and in my opinion a better choice as the swallow has a certain pride and manoeuvres in a beautiful way.

As for pake itself, it's your decision and no-one is going to stop you. Probably. Do what you like, live like a swallow and offer no sentiment to the places you leave behind.

On the other hand I'm fine playing mabi as it is. So please don't decimate it entirely or I'll have one less thing to enjoy in life.

I'm pretty sure it was more a simile than a metaphor, and flowers are easily swayed by the wind, especially after being aggressively plucked from their roots.

I like the fog one though \o/

And I haven't released anything entirely gamebreaking, because I still have friends in that game who would prefer it not as chaotic as it was in 2011

A simile is a specific type of metaphor. While simile is more precise to this instance, both are adequate.

Moving on though, if I were to cross the street one day and lose my legs to a passing car- it's true that I would be unable to live as I once had- but rather than being fickle, I'd describe that as being unfortunate. After all to be fickle means to change for no good reason, but you can't blame the flower for being plucked.

conclusion;

You are raeg,
You think of yourself as a sophisticated hacker(im sure you are one, thats fine).
After producing countless of dupes you've been busted/characters kaput.
Now you show them they messed with the wrong person.
You give nukes and manuals to make nukes to a couple of script kiddy's.
Essentially a great (evil) idea to get even, DDoSing with a large army of self aware Z's and using EPVP as a mirror so to say.

i have used metaphor's but i trust you understand what i am saying.
While i feel sorry for you that you got banned, i feel more for people who got black robed for a year+ thanks to said script kiddy dupe.

Sure you might hack responsibly, but you know the Z's wont.
They want to make a couple of mils waste it in 1 day, inflate economy , next day wonder why so many people are black robed etc etc.
(Keep in mind script kiddies download programs from the internet to wreck havoc, instead of experimenting with their own writen code, surely you know this.
And your using it as excuse to wreck havoc in a sophisticated manner )

If you put it in perspective, your worse than Nexon.
You help people get banned, first the Z's to which you have distributed these hacks too.
then, the people black robed indirectly, caused by your actions.
Creating uncertainty in the game, which will prevent people from buying NX.
Otherwise inflate economy/ruin game with said exploits.
Basically, you will destroy the game for people who intent to play fair.

This can end nasty for the people who like Mabinogi, but for you as well.
If it turns out that the damage done was spread by your actions you can expect to see a damage claim by Nexon, and these can be quite high.

Anyway.
Do with this info what you wish, ridicule it or keep it in mind, your choice.

sadly spellchecker does not look for consistency in sentences ,

Gamebreaking exploits like pake are treated as below:

A UK teenager who admitted launching a denial of service attack on online multiplayer game Face Of Mankind has been reprimanded by police.

The 16-year-old, who can't be named for legal reasons, launched the relatively unsophisticated SYN Flood attack throughout May 2007. As a result, Face Of Mankind's portal was regularly unavailable during the assault.

A police investigation led by Scotland Yard's Computer Crime Unit led to the arrest of the computer studies student in London in October 2007. He admitted responsibility, stating that he and his friends launched the attack after deciding to "take down" the forum over dissatisfaction about the way it was been run. The teenagers co-ordinated their attack on MSN instant messenger.

During the attacks, the teenager logged into the forum and switched over to "invisible" mode, naively thinking this would hide his actions from the site's administrator. These actions led to his undoing, allowing technicians from network analysis and forensics firm Synerity Systems to track down his location in the UK, prior to handing over the case the detectives from Scotland Yard. Synerity Systems was hired by game publishers Ojom to look into the attacks.

Jasper Bongertz explained that the bulletin boards affected by the attack played an integral part of the game: "The bulletin boards were flooded with requests for pages, causing them to go down.

"After we placed a sniffer in front of the servers we found that the attack were coming from one single IP. The same IP was included in the user list for the bulletin board, which gave us an email address. The suspect email address was tied to a subscription to the game which gave us a name and address.

"The attacker was pretty stupid," Bongertz added.

Before it introduced subscription Face Of Mankind boasted 10,000 users. At the time of the attacks it had about 1,500 users. The assaults made the game virtually unplayable and its user base drifted away. Ojom, the publisher of the game, has since taken it down in the face of further assaults which proved more difficult to track down.

"The later attacks were by more professional people using botnets. Finally the game was stopped because those attacks cost money," Bongertz told El Reg. Developers are trying to resurrect the game.

Face Of Mankind's portal is based in Germany. The teenager involved in the attack was read the riot act by police on 24 December but details of the assault, and how he was tracked down, have only just emerged
