Okay, I'm very sorry it came to this, but i need to, after countless hours of searching, post a topic to get some help. I tried and tried and tried. After some hours of trying, I finally settled on using the mod_honey.dll through MNG after some tests an insightful friend of mine offered a possible solution. I finally was about to test what seemingly would work when... My previous test somehow corrupted the mabinogi folder. Now that i have to wait 9 hours to reinstall (yes, my connection is lame), I gathered some more info and I would like to confirm the method I will use next, since another failure on my part could result in another installation (yes I am aware of the backup folder). I am sorry to those who gave much more effort than me in their own search and are seeing my plea as weak/unfair/leeching, but I'll follow through on this. I would very much like the insight of anyone willing to give it. Here's my method:
- In the MNG config file, in the private mods section, the line previously saying Load="NOFORCE.dll" now says Load="HackSlash.dll"
- The "Mod" folder contains mod_Honey.dll
- In the "Mod" folder, a line saying mod_Honey.dll has been added to the mod.txt file
- The Mabinogi core folder contains HackSlash.dll
Please tell me if anything's wrong, or if it should work in theory, i'dd just like to be set the moment my download finishes, any alternate ways welcome too, since im not really interested in MNG, simply in honey. Thanks alot and sorry again.
