There are easier methods to do this. This is just an example of how to do it, it is NEVER recommended that you do anything to damage your computers hardware, but this particular act can be accomplished in MANY ways.
You can use a lag switch.
You can tap the wireless icon on your adapter/laptop.
You can turn off the router.
Watch the inflammatory language, and instead of causing issues and being whiney little children, post your OWN methods in a civil manner.

It appears that Nexon has sped up the post-raft teleportation to remove the 'black screen' time. This makes the trick much more difficult if not impossible, I haven't been able to pull it off yet, and I used to be able to do it 100%.
How does the 'do a gesture' method work? Dancing and then hitting anchor didn't seem to affect anything.
Btw, when the boat is about to sink just type /logout and press enter, that's the best method you twits o.o;
You sure that works? Cause unless you're super laggy, the few seconds of "saving char data" gives the raft enough time to teleport you back. At least for me.
Because nexon seems to have retooled the way in which the river works (i.e not being able to use house fliers while active, disconnects being rerouted to the docks, and general fixes of how the game registers your presence on the river.) the only way to get stuck, that I am aware of, is to have the game hard disconnect. All user initiated attempts to get the desired effects seem to generally produce a failure, with the user being logged in at the dock.
Without all that bullocks, the moral of the story is this;
When you can get somewhere awesome, make a coupon.
Alright, I found another way. There's a little sliver of cliff you can land on at the top part of the river with a flying pet, then walk onto the water... but due to invisible walls, you have to go all the way around through the prairie of nothingness to the west and over the waterfall to clip into the 'real' river.

How did you get to the spot where you can fly in the first place because you cant get up there without glitching in
My brother somehow discovered a much simpler way to get on the river involving elf/giant pvp. After reading this thread, I'm kinda curious on how he does it.

Thanks.
Jumping the river in AZ 06/12/2007 - Conquer Online 2 - 7 Replies I don't know if this has been said before, maybe it's old news ... I searched but didn't find it, so:
Did you know that you can jump across the river in the central map in AZ (the one from where you get to MZ) at its narrowest place (upper 1/3 of the map). I find it helpful to get to huge snakes after taking the GC to the MZ portal.
