[GUIDE] Launch Client.exe Directly

To launch Client.exe without first launching the Mabinogi Patcher, follow this short tutorial. This is obviously have to be updated with every patch (READ: patch, not maintenance.). This is currently the only way to launch more than two Mabinogi's at one time, if used along with my Multi-Client thread found here:

1. Create a shortcut to Client.exe (Image One)
2. Right-click and open the properties on the shortcut (Image Two)
3. In the Target put a space after what is there, then paste the following code (Image Three)
   

   code:1622 ver:50 logip:208.85.108.15 logport:11000 chatip:208.85.108.18 chatport:8002 setting:"file://data/features.xml=Regular, USA"

4. Press apply

Your final shortcut should have something like this in the Target box (Image Four):

C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\Client.exe code:1622 ver:50 logip:208.85.108.15 logport:11000 chatip:208.85.108.18 chatport:8002 setting:"file://data/features.xml=Regular, USA"

C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\Client.exe is dependant on where you installed Mabinogi

ver for the current version of Mabi,R48~~
208.85.108.15 is the login server IP...
208.85.108.18 is the chat channel server...
These IP are expected to be the same for all server,But,If you are not on Mari and cannot connect,then you may need to findout the IP of the server you are on~~
PS:some 3rd part internet firewall or tool can track these IP for you~~

not the only way to multiclient, but it works for me so im happy !

To my knowledge, doing THIS in and of itself does not allow multiclienting. It just enables you to start the client without using Nexon's dumb launcher.

Is anyone having issues making this work with the newest patch (50)? I used to be able to do this without being detected by hackshield every day... now within 1 second of closing the first handle I'm hackshield booted. Just curious. Thanks!

**Edit- 1st- this is the wrong thread, should have been in the MC thread. 2nd- hackshield is detecting process explorer, not the closing of the handle.**

That would indeed be close to the fix, but instead, change it to 50. Sorry, I need to update.

Does not work on vista how do I undo it because now my mab doesn't work.
It says its in Compatibility Mode and asks me to turn it off and it isn't in compatibility mod.
Ive tried reinstalling with no prevail

Don't start lies, just because this does not work for you does not mean it does not work for everyone. I run on Vista and this is still working fine. Are you running it as administrator? Is the shortcut for Client.exe NOT Mabinogi.exe? To undo this you will have to go into the registry and manually remove it, I will not be going into how to do this. These are the reason why we DON'T leech, you end up ******** things up. Learn what it is that you are doing BEFORE you do it.

WOA Calm down there, its not a problem with vista, im having the same problem, and maybe you should go in detail on how to fix this part, cause that would be awesome, as you know, how everyone is saying its not working and all after the dragon patch
