To do this you need a guard and minstrel
If you had a champ and
a couple of hunters, it would be even easier. After you enter, go
straight and drop off the edge. Now you will kill the three spiders.
All of your party will now get into a line in the middle of the door
that goes toward the boss lair. After the door is unlocked, all group
members will stand in the middle of the open doorway.
Have the
guard aggro all of the spiders and the boss spider by running around.
After getting aggro, the door will close with the rest of the party in
the door. After the door has shut, nobody can move..otherwise it will
screw everything up. The guard will bring the mobs to the door. The
group will kill the adds. After the adds are dead, kill the boss. While
fighting the boss, the tank needs to have the boss turned away from the
door. Loot the chest and repeat. You can do this in most instances with
doors.
Or another way of doing this:
make sure that the queen is NOT facing the door during the 2nd and 3rd
phase as her acid pool that she drops will still hit the group in the
door.
clear that 1st room while in the
door then just leave and tank her around that area so every can move
around when she drop the acid. The hardest part is making it through
the room to aggro her in the first place and then making it back to a
point where the minstrel can still rezz the person. A simple way to do
this is to have a burg pop his evade and run back to her, aggro her,
and run back. A hunter shoud be standing about halfway b/w her and the
door to pew pew her once she gets in range to draw the aggro off the
burg and then run back to the door where the minn will start healing
and champ aoe'ing to get the aggro off the hunter. After those adds are
down the hunter can then range the other groups of spiders to the door
and clear the room. Make sure everyone is on the same target and nobody
is aoe'ing b/c once the Queen gets to a certain hp, 60 or 65k iirc, she
will satrt the acid dropping phase. When she changes phases she will
run back to here original spot, don chase her, she'll come back.
