Buying mats/gems directly to avoid detection?

Wondering if you're less likely to be detected/suspended if you buy and get mailed materials/gems you can sell for gold later?

Obviously it's not $/gold efficient but you could avoid gold flag by getting like 5k leapstones or 9 lvl 9 gems instead.

See my post if you're looking for handfarmed gold on NA E ( not always week to week I just have a large stock currently and wont restock when depleted, I care about my steam account and will only do safe trading ). Gems, honor shard bags, ancient accessories, etc.

The best safe method currently is to use the auction house with accessories of high rarity and quality. In this case ancient accessories with a quality higher than 70. At the same time, be sure that this seller sells hand-farmed gold. That is the most complicated thing about finding a real and reliable player.

Real sellers with high accounts would not mail you materials because you would have access to their character's name. Which is totally risky. Someone could easily report them for goldseller for revealing their character's name. I don't think any real seller wants to take that risk.

If you buy gold or materials through the mail, you are probably dealing with an unreliable seller who has bottled gold. Only unreasoning buyers would be willing to risk their accounts and lose money by buying cheap gold through the mail.

Mail, face to face trade using wrong amount gold will get you banned so fast. Only AH with true items and true amount of per item safe at the moment.

What u mean buy and sell? You just placing relic/ancient accessories and gold seller buying them for you. You just losing %5 for per item, you should tank it if you don't wanna get banned by using one item for more than 150k gold. Also sellers using pheons so it's fair to lose %5 for you i believe.

Most people who reply to you have ulterior motives and are trying to force their bias on you to sell you their gold. You can buy mats from anyone at a fair price, and you will not get banned; mat transfer is not tracked by AG, and I have been buying mats for months.

Players who sell gold or materials by mail. The vast majority is gold wasted from players using disposable accounts.

Both seller and buyer players, if they use the mail, run the risk of being reported for revealing the names of their characters. And if a seller uses mule accounts there is a high risk that the gold or materials will be produced by bots. And that is totally bannable.

Now tell me, would you reveal the name of your character from your main account to a seller or buyer to make rmt via email with a high risk that someone could report you for rmt and be investigated and banned? I am a seller and obviously I would not show any buyer the name of my character. And I wouldn't use a mule account either because they can still report it as a gold seller and it can be investigated and linked to all the other accounts that that account has had contact with.

Even I currently use 4 accounts. My 4 accounts each have 1 main character 1600 and 5 secondary characters +1540 towards 1580. Being my own accounts, I would prefer a million times to use an ancient accessory, spend 35 pheon and lose 5% commission than to use the email. Email is a more direct link in transactions. The auction house is a more indirect way to make green and buy gold. And transactions can be camouflaged with high rarity accessories such as ancient ones.

In conclusion, the auction house is the safest method to protect both the buyer and the seller. It is the responsibility of each buyer to find sellers who are real and trustworthy players and also have an account that makes raid content.

The info about not buying gold directly f2f or mail is really helpful.

I ended up buying some level 10 gems from g2g last week through a mule. Waited until last reset to trade them to main and so far both accounts are fine.

Going to hold off any gold purchasing directly through sites and see if I find any real people just selling gold normally on my server. I'm pretty satisfied with the gems alone though.

I would not trade in person, since risking my account is a very dumb idea nor do i need to know char name of my customers, i'm a busser and refused a lot of $$$ offers to buss people.
AH and relic items works fine. I keep track of most of my customers, and not a single one had any issues, including few people who are buying since last july. What u should be worry is seller, and can he confirm all his gold is legit. If u aske to show roster and he show some ****** 1540 / 80 roster be very suspicious.

By this I mean. If you want to buy cheap gold, you will only get unreliable sellers with quantities of gold in stock of very dubious origin. If you want to get gold from real players you should try to get more information about the seller, their accounts and where their gold comes from. You could even ask them questions about the raids or specific things about the characters. And so you see what things he knows about the game. You can request frequent updates to your account and roster from time to time to ensure that you are a real player and that your account is constantly moving forward. And preferably look for players who have a roster above 150 and their main is greater than +1580.
