Buying gold high ban risk? (Main account)

Here's some feedback from experience;

Lostarkgold: okay so far with AH. Despite asking for your char name, they don't require it when you contact them directly.
Mmogah: it was good until they started asking for a selfie of my license and myself.

Never use your PayPal account connected to your steam account or personal. Just make a new one because everytime I have RMted, even with other games, someone usually tries to log in with my PayPal details.

Also @ the people who are getting banned right now. Sorry mates, I guess those people crying at their forums are finally too loud to ignore.

if I get banned too, haha well.. at least it'll force my lost ark addiction to stop. It's just a game that we were willing to spend money to. If they ban us instead of lowering their price, then that's a customer lost

AGS will only hurt their own profit margins. We have plenty of cash to burn and definitely do buy out the in game store.

I would personally just chalk this up as any standard of living expense and move on. Let AGS keep the F2P players that do nothing but whine and have no spending power.

My theory is the perm bans are from ppl buying gold that is sourced with stolen credit cards. This is like back when people bought skins with royal crystals and then proceeded to chargeback after the sale. All those people got perma'd as well but that went quiet after a while.

Thing with stolen ccs is you never know when the owner of the card will find out and dispute the charges, it could be a month or 6 months. But when that chargeback hits that gold is gonna get the account perma'd.

Have not heard of people getting perma'd for buying hand made gold. I would say botted gold is probably safe from perma but you can never trust if gold is truly botted or acquired from stolen cc.

Edit: realized I never explained my theory. Ppl are getting perma'd for purchases like 20k/60k, basically it's random and not based on a threshold. If AGS were to perma people it would be systematic they wouldn't randomly choose people to get perma'd while some people who bought 1mil+ get 3days. So my theory is that the ban severity is not based on amount, but rather how the gold is obtained.

Just think about for a moment the population of the servers with bots. It were like 800k+ but the real population of players was around 100-150k or so...

The demand/offer value, if they ban all rmters the game would be kinda dead. Ofc among RMTing there were people who spent a lot ingame for cosmetics. A company actually do not want to lose people who buy regular event stuff.

But nvm - I'm sad what gaming became, you need to pay for every **** in the game and then on top of that it got so expensive. Lost Ark is cool but I hope that games like this won't have a future. (They will, I know...)

This honestly sounds like a false positive, since you're not a new account I absolutely believe you. Seems super weird they would ban a paying customer for that low of an amount. If I get banned I will just buy an account next year or drop the game completely

Bought in total 6.8m worth of gold. My main is at 1514 and 4 other alts 1445+ and 2 more at 1370. Just bought today early on another account 700k gold.

Everybody who gets banned bought gold from shady places who are using stolen credit cards to buy crystals and convert them to gold to sell. If you buy from legit sources there is no way, literally no way AGS can do something against it. Yes, it is more expensive but you won't ever get banned.

Include me in the screencap when you post this on forum virgins. Seethe and dilate.

From real players and also communities who are specialized making gold in the early game as much as they can to sell later. AGS and LA community really think the only gold sellers are the botnets lmao. So many players and communities sold and still selling their own gold in private Discord servers and boards. One of our guildies actually one of the biggest private gold seller and he does this since launch. He only plays the auction house and flips items, all day long to make gold and sell.

Market is infested with bots aswell so I really don't see how your guildmate is making money via flipping without botting/macroing.

Sounds like you're either bought gold off G2G or a seller there. Are you worried G2G being exposed?
