Lineage II official Gracia Part II Server with Cheat Engine

Hello I am trying to do instant adena with Cheat Engine on official server, it worked for once then adena disappears and goes back to original adena! Here how I did it. GameGuard must be disabled

Run Cheat Engine

Run L2.exe

Select L2.exe

Type HP/MP/CP/Adena whichever you want

First Scan on it

Drop 1 Adena on the ground (for this case, it is adena.)

Type the value you gained or you lost your adena

Then Next Scan (It should appear or you doing something wrong, try it again.)

When Values appeared, right click and select all values.

Click the arrow and drag into it.

Click Frozen for all values then Press Ctrl+A for select all values

Right click on it, Select Change record, Select values

Write values how much adena you want.

Until this, everything worked, what am I doing wrong?

You're just changin values in your client, so maybe u see that you have "9999999999999999999999999" adena, but for the server you just jave the same as before.

Ah, thank you for your reply, so I need to edit the values on the server as well. I just need 2G or 3G adena every time so yes. Any suggestions on editing the server?

Well, you can't, if you were able to modify the amount of adena on the server-side, you were also able to modify anything you want.

But maybe there's another way that i'm not aware off.

Hmm, I saw a Japanese doing transoformation tool that allows you to transform into a monster always, maybe that is just client-side only? I also saw on Youtube that he changing HP values and he succeed, I hope that is not fake. Here is the link for youtube video I am talking about.

Yea, at least that's what i think, you could see yourself like a mob, but everybody else wont, and if someone hit you, the value would go back to the original.

lets make this clear. if you can edit on the server-side, it means you can actually hack the game server.
And if you can do that, than like vcore said, you can edit just about everything you want, or perhaps steal people account; coz you can see the inside (all the database) of the real server bro.

Hmm. what do you mean by that?
Hackers: hack into somebody server. but for game you won't go that far, coz hacking a server is far too complicated than just playing it hehe but its different story if u're get used to hacking.

The least we can do is packet hacking, using program like sniffers (Hlapex, L2Phx), than we send a modified packet to the server to ask for something that is not in default (e.g buy enchanted weapon from a normal shop, whereas normal shop only sell normal weapon)

For example, Diablo 2 can hack client-side and server-side for MMORPG if I am not wrong, "Hackers" made status editor and everything, I am curious why it can't for Lineage II, too mcuh Security or ? I am sure we can do this for Lineage II.

hacking the l2 client is the easiest way to get a advantage in the game - l2bots,clickers,radars etc are injecting the client(or the traffic between the client and the server) and getting infos about the game and sending info back,so it makes some functions automaticly (hp/cp restore or l2w IG - bot is moving alone and doing things)

the thing is that u cant access the server if u cant break the security.If u can,u won u can make what ever u want.If not,the only thing u can do is the "play" with the client that isnt that much protected (only gameguard if u are playing on retail servers)

and the only way that u can spoof the l2 client packets sending to the server is using hlapex (c4-c5 servers) or l2phx for the newer chronicles.Using it u can change values of items u have to the server,so when its not protected againts it,u can create or dump items.But thats harder than its seems and u have to find a server that isnt protected.

Okay, I meant why programmers would make only client-side programs, if they made server-client programs as well without using packethack, it would be more simple and easy. I don't have a right to say too much about this yet this is my idea. For example, from Russia, there is a tool named L2 Packet Editor, it is one of Packet Hack but it is very simple and anyone can use this tool if they did it. that tool is a more simple l2phx/hlapex taht are also packet hack softs and its not more easy to create server-client side softs than only client sides,becouse u have to take the server protection in mind,that nowdays is on a very high level

I am sorry, thank you for moving section, okay, that is how programmers thought. Thank you for your reply. But Can we crack the security using patch to server? Is it too hard to do it? I mean aren't we want server-side hack program?

well if u can find out how server packet hack protection works,u can start thinking of a new hack tool then
