[Help] DDoS Atk, how i can protect my server?

Hi there, this is my first post here and i need a bit help.

My server its underatk from a Kids, there is anyway to protect the server from this ****?

The host machine, have Windows2k3 as operation system.

Any idea?

block the offending IP's

Good idea but, there is many many many ip's, don't exist any program that can do it in authomatic?

Arial, is the high traffic coming from one particular ip or are they constantly changing? Use netstat to view the incoming/outgoing TCP/UDP connections and find the IP hitting the most. If its an advanced ddos coming from multiple IP's that will take some research.
