Help me start l2 interlude

Goodday,

I am building my own interlude server for a tryout.(I know it's old but still)

Got loginserver running:
Login Server ready on *:2106
Selector Started
Updated Gameserver [45] Blackbird IP's:
InternalIP: 255.255.255.0
ExternalIP: 203.87.198.122

Got Gameserver running:
Connecting to login on 127.0.0.1:9014
Maximum Numbers of connected Players:100
Selector Started
Telnet server is currently disabled.
Registered on login as Server 45 : Blackbird

I created an account in the startsqlaccount manager

After running loginserver and gameserver, I start L2.exe from the system folder. Game starts up, loginscreen appears. After filling in username and pw, nothing happens, not even an error or whatsoever

I tried to change IP's in both int and ext on gameserver and loginserver
I added all those IP's to the hostfile aswell

Same problem occures each time, stuck in login screen. Somehow the game does not connect to the server, but why?

Does anybody know the answer?

Indeed I would like to run it locally only.
I did try your suggestion earlier without success, but to be sure I retried it today. Did not work.
Some sites I found they are leaving ext host empty. Tried this also, but not working.
Somehow the game does not connect to login server?
